Sites

Sites are your establishments — the plants, warehouses, mines, and job sites this tenant covers. A site's kind decides which rules apply to it (mine → MSHA, construction → OSHA 1926, everything else → OSHA 1910).

Add a site

1. In Add a site, enter the name and choose a kind (plant, site, warehouse, construction, mine, or facility).
2. For a mine, enter the MSHA mine id — it prints on Forms 7000-1/7000-2.
3. Enter the average employees and hours worked for the year.
4. Choose Add site.

Edit a site — and set NAICS / DOT

1. Click Edit on a site's row; the form switches to editing and the button becomes Save site (or Cancel edit to back out).
2. Set the NAICS code (e.g. 4931 for warehousing) — it enables the industry percentile benchmark and seeds the industry injuries feed to your cohort.
3. For carriers, set the US DOT number — it enables the FMCSA record profile.
4. NAICS and DOT are saved when you edit a site, so add the site first, then edit it to fill these in.

Review your sites

Open Sites to see the list — each site's name, kind, MSHA mine id, NAICS, and US DOT.

Tip: the annual hours worked feed your OSHA 300A summary and your TRIR/DART rates — fill them in or those numbers stay at zero.
