Carrier profile (FMCSA)

See your carrier's public FMCSA record — census data, inspection totals, out-of-service rates vs national averages, and SMS BASIC measures — synced monthly by DOT number.

Your carrier's public FMCSA record beside your own fleet data: census info, inspection totals, driver and vehicle out-of-service rates vs. the national averages, and SMS BASIC measures. The data comes from FMCSA's public monthly snapshots (DOT DataHub), so what you see here is exactly what an auditor, insurer, or shipper sees.

Set it up

  1. On the Sites page, edit the site and enter its US DOT number.
  2. The monthly FMCSA sync builds the profile from the next snapshot. (If the page says the sync is disabled, your administrator needs to enable the FmcsaData integration.)

Read the profile

  1. Open Carrier profile and pick the carrier (site) from the dropdown — each entry shows its DOT number.
  2. The header line gives the public census record: legal name, dba, city/state, power units, and drivers.
  3. The cards show inspections in the 24-month SMS window and the vehicle and driver out-of-service rates, colored green or red against the approximate national averages (about 21% vehicle, 5.5% driver).
  4. The SMS BASIC measures table lists each BASIC's measure and its count of inspections with violations.

What this data is — and isn't

  • For property carriers FMCSA publishes measures only — no percentiles and no alerts (a FAST Act restriction) — so nothing on this page is a "CSA score".
  • Each profile is stamped with its data-as-of date; the page is read-only reference data.

What happens automatically

  • The dashboard flags carriers whose out-of-service rate is above the national average, and warns when a profile is stale (no successful sync in 45 days).

Related: your own fleet & DVIR records are the internal counterpart of the vehicle-maintenance BASIC, and driver hours of service is the internal counterpart of the HOS BASIC — recent HOS violations (last 14 days) are escalated to the safety team and counted on the dashboard.
